An Ending. A Beginning.
This one was special. I treated the senior portrait session like any other, but it was not like any other, as the subject was my oldest. We had decided to take a trip, just the two of us, to Maine, right before he left home and headed off to college. While our itinerary of mostly hiking left us with minimal clothing options, this afforded us wonderful locations not quite available to us when we are home in western New York. The nature surrounding, coupled by the relaxed look of someone ready to start the next chapter of his life made for some powerful images, exuding confidence and calm.
